Single girder suspension crane is a lightweight crane. This type of crane is mainly used in positions where it is not possible to install columns to support the bridge crane. The end truck of the bridge crane rides on the bottom flange of the runway beam. Usually, suspended runways are hung on the roofs of buildings and are only available at lighter capacities (not exceeding 10 tons).
